Made using recycled timbers only; Rimu salvaged from the O’Connells mall in Queenstown. Nail marks are celebrated as scars of a different past, to shine bright in its new future. The underside is waved and charred, using the shou sugi ban technique to contrast with the smooth top.

This Furniture piece is a fully functional bar, giving a new life to an old piano.
The surfaces have been charred, using the shou sugi ban technique to contrast with the bar top, where the piano keys used to be.
